Chrysler Hemi engines have, as mentioned above hemispherical combustion chamber. But what they also are known for is the placement of spark plugs. On the top! Their not like Chevrolets V8's where the spark plugs can be found anywhere but the top.
So I guess the question is. The V8's you are making, is the spark plugs on the top or the sides?
EDIT: I have to correct myself, Chevrolet made a few engines with the ignition on top, example is the the LT5 and LS-series.
But the LT5 is not really american when its made by Lotus in the UK.
