Re: Automation - Minimum Requirements

Note that it'll only run on Macs that are running windows, I'd wait for the demo in the next few months and see how it goes then

Re: Automation - Minimum Requirements

I would be one sad person if this game did not come out for Mac. I've been waiting for this game. I'd be thrilled with cross-platform.

Played all the games I own on Mac, without running any PC programs. Sims 2 and 3, Sim City games, Civ IV, Spore, Grand Theft Auto Games, all running native on my Mac. :-/ No issues.

Re: Automation - Minimum Requirements

Yes, but all those games were developed with being cross platform in mind, which is something we simply cannot afford to do - unfortunately using a mac restricts your choice of games somewhat, if you want to be able to play everything you'll need to dual boot windows

Re: Automation - Minimum Requirements

Also, if its not considered worthwhile viable for games like Skyrim to be released on Mac, why would we, with a much smaller market and a much smaller budget want to do so?

Re: Automation - Minimum Requirements

Will it be playable with Core i-5 2520M and a HD 3000?

I don't expect full settings, but mid setting @ 30fps?

Should run quite alright, I'd imagine. The Sandy Bridge IGP is mucho better than anything Intel have previously foisted on the majority of PC users :)

Re: Automation - Minimum Requirements

Well here my "computer":

Intel Celeron CPU 2.40GHZ
3072mb of RAM
Nvidia geforce 6600  (256mb)

I manage to run Spore(full settings),Medieval2 Total war(medium settings) and Crysis demo (medium settings)

Will it make it?

Re: Automation - Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7
Processor: Dual Core (Intel Core2 DUO E4500 or equivalent)
Ram: 2gb
Graphics Card: NVidia 8600GT/ATI Radeon X1650 (Must support Pixel Shader 3.0)
Internet Access

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gam ... 107-7.html

so the nv 6600gt and the intel HD3000 are at the same level, slightly below the requirements of the game, with a bit of luck we should run, then we're not talking about an action game so it should be playable with just a few fps. But your Celeron has a single core, so I think you will not play.
