Re: New Testers Needed

Hello, I was one of the first to preorder. I consider myself to be a "mad car enthusiast" I would love to think that I know EVERYTHING there is to know about plymouth, dodge, and chrysler engines. I have tons of reference books related to engine specs, and would love testing out the automation models vs real life engines. If you think I fit the bill, Im more than willing to dedicate some hours for you guys and all end users.

Re: New Testers Needed

I would also like to be a tester. I could put in at least 2 hours a day, probably more. I do have experience with beta testing. Also, being a programmer myself, I can understand the need to have real testers rather than people who just play around for a few minutes and call it testing.

Re: New Testers Needed

Have preordered Automation: Yep

Are willing to test the demo: Of course I am! I've closed beta tested before and I try to offer feedback on bugs as well as possible improvements.

Are willing to document your findings in a detailed fashion in the tools provided (Pivotal Tracker & Engine Spreadsheet): Sure, just provide the tools.

Know that "testing" does not mean "just playing around" : Well I can do both can't I? :P

Are able to give detailed feedback to assist in making Automation more polished and fun: Yep! I have to admit that I'm not too much for a car guy but it might be worth it to have a newbie's point of view on the learning curve and the level of fun of the game for a non-car geek.

Write here in this thread how much time you are willing to put in: 1-2 hours/per day. Probably more if I get hooked on it.

Re: New Testers Needed

I am definitely keen to help with testing. I'm willing to spend 8-10 hours a week (maybe more if my weekends are free) to help document bugs and errors to help make Automation better. Definitely not looking to goof around but to help test and provide useful feedback on Automation.

Re: New Testers Needed

Sounds good!

I seem to meet all the requirements, except I'm not familiar with Pivotal Tracker.

Have a lot of free time right now, on average I could probably manage 4-6 hours on a weekday, though some times I may not be able to do much due to other plans. Fridays and Saturdays I'm free all day.

Re: New Testers Needed

It would be my honour to help you guys out, been following you for a long time now, and watched many a hour of livestream.
As soon as I had seen your idea, I knew it is exactly what we (simulation fanatics) need, and I just had to pre-order right away.

I can put in up to 3-4 hours a day currently, due to my work being on hiatus.

I work in IT, have excellent attention to detail, am a car enthusiast, and live with two mechanics.
One my father (Old school) and the other my brother (New school).

Let's get these bugs ironed out!

Re: New Testers Needed

I would be interested in helping test.

I could put in about 5 hours a week.

I have been waiting for this for a long time :D

Re: New Testers Needed

I'm very interested in being part of the testing of the Engine Designer! :)

Although not having any previous experience with such work, I have done some basic troubleshooting with the software I currently use daily in my job. I also have a background as an car mechanic, and have a passion for engines.

Will be able to put in 5-10 hours a week, but quite possibly more, and of course I'm willing to document and give detailed feedback.
