Crikey! I've just realised those silly French people have made my engine back-to-front The exhaust valves are at the back and the intake on the front. It never occurred to me that there would even be any variation, although I suppose there's no reason to go one way or the other except packaging (and I'd have thought you could mount the engine lower if there's no exhaust running under it, which ought to be better?) I seem to recall Honda I4s actually turn the opposite way to most makes, that's even odder.

Now when do I get to play with it? *impatience*
