engine placement

I was wondering how the placement of an engine on to the body of a car would work .......

like will you be able to place the engine in the front, middle, or rear of any vehicle body or would it be more like a certain body can only have a certain engine placement (eg. Porsche 911 can only have a rear mounted engine)

Re: engine placement

There will be chassis that are designed for front, mid, or rear monuting, and bodies will probably only ever suit one of these mounting positions. Only exception is you MAYBE could put a motor in the middle of a hatchback, but thats not a gauranteed feature at all
