Re: Car emblems and badges

At minimum we should have sets of badges for common designations and features like "GT" "Turbo" "16 Valve" etc. in a bunch of different styles. If we can work out a good way to do it, we'll take it even further :)

Re: Car emblems and badges

If you add "Turbo" and "16 Valve" badges, I hope you will be able to have more than one badge per car ;)

Yeaaaah. Hood Bades, Rear Trunk (Left and Right Top Corners?), possibly the side panels (TURRRRBBBOOOOOOO), and if we get a little more ambitious maybe emblems on the Hood like the old Firebirds.

not trying to steal the thread..... but maybe what you name your car could have a slight effect on how it sells......like if you name it vulgarly it wont sell as well as something more appropriately named.

All these are great ideas guys. I hope we will see some car naming and emblem maker in the game :)

That could have a rather negative effect on mac_hater`s ARSEBISCUITS GL ;)
I would drop the GL

oh no!

how about GLXi? ive only ever seen GLXi on the best of the worst base spec cars - so it goes further then GL in the fact it has NO features but sounds fancy as there are more letters and a lowercase i at the end ;)

This is a great idea. I do hope names and badges can be added to the cars.

Re: Car emblems and badges

If we could upload jpeg files to the game and use them as decals, it would be easy to create the logos, or add a side stripe like the Ford GT...just saying ;D
