Re: Engine Upload

I find that the most power can be achieved with a five valve head, unlike the four cylinders where the maximum power can be reached with the four valve head. More power should be possible when we finally get VVT on the 5 valve heads.

Re: Engine Upload

What pistons are you using? Forged reach their rpm limit at 10k an lightweight forged reach their torque limit.

Re: Engine Upload

That isn't strictly true. I tossed two mufflers and cats on my uber V8 and the power didn't change. The thing about NA engines is they actually need some back pressure to function correctly. If you completely remove the exhaust you wont see gains over a good flowing one. It will just be very loud and pollute a lot.

Here is my best. No extra power but I was able to increase the life span of the motor and improve the emissions and loudness without any ill effects. For a 10hp sacrifice you can also get it to about 160MREVs by switching to a performance filter over the race one.

EDIT: for the non Americans, I am using AKI numbers for the octane. I wish this game had race gas available. It's 100 AKI.
