Background:
In alternate 1978 world, Bosmal engineers were asked to make a more powerful engine for Fiat 126p. So they welded two original I2 0.65 engines, twisted camshaft and crankshaft, so it's not Parallel I4, debored it a bit due to Automation limitations, and... it worked. Actually, it worked quite nice...

Re: Engine Upload

None of them looks cheap to manufacture... Change the factory maybe?

Re: Engine Upload

I did a quick test based on my 1.3L Daihatsu. and it's come out rather well.
I'm amazed how the devs got it so accurate.

Re: Engine Upload

Ok.

Background: The year is 1946. The place is Vitre, France. A young mechanic had a dream. He wanted every French guy to drive car. He founded Cossack Autos, which had two slogans: "Cars that make other cars seem good" and "It may be horrible, but it's cheap". Inspiring himself by these slogans, the young company owner made a body, made a wooden frame and wooden suspension. And he also was buying prewar engines from local car manufacturer. The engine displacement was 999 cc, and it's power was exactly 35 hp at 4300 rpm. And it was cheap to buy. Now, you can see this engine in Cossack Museum or here:

Re: Engine Upload

The quickest I have got so far is a 2.7 ( HP unit since I understand that better of 396 at 9,000RPM downside the thing would cost over 2,000$ to maintain) I called it the Amy after my partner.

Here are both of my first engines
